Bonus Room Built-ins

Custom built-in shelving and cabinets in bonus room media space. Unit substantially built — contractor needed to finish face frames, paint all raw wood white to match existing cabinetry, fill all holes and gaps, add scribe/trim pieces at ceiling angles on both upper corners, caulk all gaps, and remove triangular corner cabinet doors to create open shelving consistent with surrounding cubby spaces.

Finish and complete custom built-in shelving/cabinet unit. Scope includes: sand, fill, and paint all raw face frames to match white Shaker cabinetry; add scribe/trim pieces at all ceiling angle transitions; caulk all gaps; optionally seal/finish butcher block countertop; address any structural fit issues. Projector and screen must be protected during work.

Built-in unit is substantially constructed. White Shaker cabinet doors/drawers with matte black bar pulls installed. Finger-jointed hardwood butcher block countertop runs full center width. Motorized drop-down projector screen integrated into upper cabinet housing. Epson ceiling-mounted projector in place. Raw pine/poplar face frames throughout open shelving sections — unfinished, nail holes and wood filler visible, need sanding and painting. Visible gaps at ceiling angle transitions need scribe trim or caulk. Vaulted ceiling with ~45° slopes both sides. Ceiling height ~8.5–9ft at peak, ~4–4.5ft at knee walls. Light gray carpet flooring, good condition. No windows. At least one electrical outlet in left shelf section.

Bonus room approx 14–18ft wide. Built-in spans full end wall (knee wall to knee wall). Ceiling peak ~8.5–9ft, slopes to ~4–4.5ft at knee walls, ~45° pitch both sides.

Homeowner supplying all MDF, paint, and hardware. Contractor to supply fasteners and trim.

Unit was partially DIY-built and needs professional finishing. Face frames are the primary unfinished item. Scribe work at the angled ceiling will require precision cuts. Projector (Epson, ceiling-mounted) must be protected — do not disturb mount or alignment.
